Understanding NEPSE Live Trading & Market Hours
NEPSE Live Trading provides real-time equity data directly from the Nepal Stock Exchange. Tracking live price fluctuations, transaction volumes, and index movements is essential for active traders and long-term investors looking to optimize their entry and exit points. The live trading dashboard updates minute-by-minute during the official exchange session, giving you direct visibility into market momentum, liquidity, and sector trends.
Trading Schedule
The Nepal Stock Exchange is active Sunday through Thursday, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM NPT. The pre-open session runs from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM NPT.
LTP & Valuation
The Last Traded Price (LTP) dictates the current valuation of a security. Live volume and turnover values indicate the level of liquidity and buying/selling interest.
Circuit Breakers
Individual stocks are allowed to trade within a ±10% daily price band. System-wide circuit halts trigger at 4% (20m), 5% (40m), and 6% (rest of the day).
